Angelica A. Zabanal is an Associate of Selman Breitman LLP in the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Equine Law practice groups. Angelica has represented national insurance companies in complex insurance fraud litigation. A daughter of Filipino immigrants, Angelica was raised in Hawai’i with her four siblings. She is fluent in Tagalog. Angelica obtained her B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University and received her J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai'i at Manoa.

Angelica has been an active FBANC member since 2014 and previously served as the Co-Chair of the Women’s Committee. Angelica was the Vice President of the Filipino Law Students Association while in law school. Passionate about diversity, inclusion, and social justice, Angelica is a 2018 Fellow of the New Leaders Council-Oakland Chapter. She has also previously served as a board member of the Alameda County and Mid-Peninsula (Palo Alto) chapters of the ACLU of Northern California.
