DIRECTOR AT LARGE, FBANC FOUNDATION TREASURER & LGBTQ COMMITTEE CHAIR – RAYMOND R. ROLLAN
City of Hayward

Raymond R. Rollan currently serves as a Deputy City Attorney with the Hayward City Attorney’s Office, where he litigates civil rights and personal injury cases, provides legal advice to various City departments, and counsels on the City’s Public Records Act compliance, rent control, and housing affordability programs.

Prior to joining Hayward, Raymond worked as an associate at Haapala, Thompson & Abern, litigating insurance defense and public entity cases. He also clerked for Judge Kandis A. Westmore at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Raymond serves on the Board of Directors of the USF Law Public Interest Law Foundation, and as Vice-Chair of the LGBTQ Committee of the Asian American Bar Association. He is also an active member of the Earl Warren American Inn of Court and of the Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALIF). In 2018, Raymond was selected as a New Leaders Council 2018 Fellow.

Raymond graduated from USF Law School in 2015, and obtained his bachelor’s degree from UCSD.
