MEMBERSHIP CO-DIRECTOR – ANGELICA O. LEONARDO
Solano County Alternate Defender's Office

Angelica O. Leonardo serves as a Deputy Public Defender with the Alternate Defender's Office in Solano County where she represents indigent clients charged with misdemeanors.  Prior to joining the Alternate Defender's Office, she practiced worker's compensation defense with Farmers Insurance Exchange. 

Angelica earned her Bachelor's Degree from UC Davis where she was actively involved in Filipino American organizations on campus.  She earned her JD from Golden Gate University School of Law.  In law school, she co-founded the Pilipino American Law Society (PALS) and a “boot-camp” program for incoming 1Ls from diverse backgrounds called “Connect.”  She has been part of FBANC since law school as a student volunteer, FBANC scholarship recipient and dinner emcee.  This is Angelica's 3rd year on FBANC board, having previously served as mentorship co-director the past two years.
