Burnham Brown

Marrianne S. Taleghani, a litigation associate at Burnham Brown, is a member of the firm’s retail & hospitality and real estate group. She has represented individuals, insurance companies, corporations, and real property owners in all stages of litigation. Since becoming an attorney in 2012, she has successfully tried three cases before a jury and obtained favorable results for her clients in binding arbitration.

An island girl at heart, Marrianne was born in the Philippines and moved to Maui when she was 7-years old. At the age of 18 she ventured to Miami to attend the University of Miami where she obtained her B.A. in political science and Masters in Public Administration (not in medicine – much to her parents’ chagrin). She thereafter moved to Peru to work in an all-girls orphanage and learn Spanish for several months before starting law school at Golden Gate University. At GGU she was on the board of APALSA and later served as the chair of the Bay Area APALSA Conference. She has been a member of FBANC since her first year of law school.

Outside of lawyering, Marrianne enjoys testing new recipes, yoga, and being outdoors.
