VICE PRESIDENT, JUDICIARY COMMITTEE CHAIR – MARC PILOTIN

Marc Pilotin is a trial attorney with the Office of the Solicitor for the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). In that role, Marc advocates in federal district court and administrative tribunals to enforce our federal labor laws to protect our nation’s workers. Prior to joining DOL, Marc was an associate at Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein litigating antitrust, employment, and qui tam cases. Before attending law school, Marc taught fourth grade in South Los Angeles.

In addition to serving in FBANC, Marc remains involved in his community. He is a lecturer at the UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), Chair of the Oakland Public Ethics Commission, and a director of the ACLU of Northern California.

Marc graduated from Boalt Hall in 2009 and received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from UCLA. He clerked for the Honorable Claudia Wilken of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Contact Marc at marcpilotin@fbanc.org.
