Product Liability Associate Attorney

Description:

Schiff Hardin LLP’s San Francisco office is growing!  We are seeking an associate with three to six years of experience (2011- 2014 J.D.) for our Product Liability practice in San Francisco. 

The ideal candidate would have a wide-range of experience in product liability, including experience in consumer products and/or toxic tort litigation and liability defense or personal injury defense. In addition, the ideal candidate would have experience writing briefs, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, drafting affirmative and responsive discovery, and experience with routine and complex filings plus some courtroom experience (handling routine court appearances, arguing motions, and/or presenting witnesses).  Strong academic record and excellent electronic data management skills, research, writing, and oral communication skills are required.  California Bar admission is preferred.

In addition, the ideal candidate would have experience writing briefs, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, drafting affirmative and responsive discovery, and experience with routine and complex filings plus some courtroom experience (handling routine court appearances, arguing motions, and/or presenting witnesses).  Strong academic record and excellent electronic data management skills, research, writing, and oral communication skills are required.  California Bar admission is preferred.
