Managed Care Associate @ Reed Smith
Reed Smith’s Managed Care practice is looking to hire a California-licensed, mid-level litigation associate to join our San Francisco office. This industry-focused practice represents the leading managed care companies throughout the United States in a wide range of litigation and arbitration matters including member disputes, bad faith litigation, ERISA cases, provider payment disputes involving contracted and non-contracted providers and class actions.
Candidates should have 3-6 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, excellent academic credentials and strong writing, research, analytical and verbal communication skills. Managed care or health care experience is a plus but any lawyer with top-notch litigation skills, willing to commit to the practice and eager to learn is encouraged to apply. Candidates must have experience handling multiple cases and the ability to serve as the point person on litigation, including coordinating with other associates and staff and acting as client contact. Deposition and courtroom experience required.
