KDV Law Seeks A Real Estate Associate & Paralegal (Sonoma)

Associate:

The KDV Real Estate litigation team is looking for a junior associate with 2-5 years of experience to handle law and motion work, discovery, and prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.  This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience including court appearances and depositions, and to develop a client network through direct contact with current clients and marketing opportunities to grow the practice.  This associate will work with a small team that supports one Litigation Partner within the Real Estate Practice Group in the new Sonoma office, and will service clients throughout San Francisco and the North Bay Area, including wine country.  No prior experience in real estate law needed, but candidate should be comfortable practicing litigation, have the ability to work independently and collaborate with others, and be able to manage several projects simultaneously. 

Paralegal:

The KDV Real Estate litigation team is looking for an experienced paralegal to support with all phases of litigation, including initial client intake, document and exhibit management, drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, court filings, and calendar management.  This paralegal must be comfortable with frequent client interaction, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple deadlines and projects for the attorneys on the team.  This paralegal will work with a small team that supports one Litigation Partner and Associate within the Real Estate Practice Group in the new Sonoma office, and will service clients throughout San Francisco and the North Bay Area, including wine country.  No prior experience in real estate law needed, but candidate should have a paralegal certificate and a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience as a paralegal.
