Law Office of Maria Segarra
Maria Segarra’s legal practice focuses on immigration law. She currently divides her time between her private practice and her work at Tahirih Justice Center where she advocates on behalf of women and children fleeing violence.
Prior to joining Tahirih, Maria worked at API Legal Outreach, where she defended tenants in eviction matters, assisted petitioners seeking restraining orders for their protection, and represented survivors of trafficking and sexual assault in their application for immigration relief. Maria also teaches paralegal courses at Skyline College. In the community, she supervises weekly immigration legal clinics, serving undocumented students and their family members.
Maria graduated from Berkeley Law in 2010.
