33rd Annual Installation Dinner at The Four Seas Restaurant,731 Grant Avenue in San Francisco.
On Friday, May 31, 2013, the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (“FBANC”) will proudly host its 33rd Annual Installation Dinner at The Four Seas Restaurant, 731 Grant Avenue in San Francisco. In a little over three decades, FBANC has grown into one of the most well-established Filipino-American bar associations in the country. Through its members and affiliates, FBANC regularly reaches hundreds of members of the Bay Area’s legal community from a wide range of legal backgrounds. Every year, FBANC’s Installation Dinner draws a diverse attendance that includes attorneys, judges, and leaders in the Filipino-American community. Please join us for a night of joyous celebration!

At the Installation Dinner, FBANC will also welcome its 2013-2014 board members:
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour starting at 6:00 p.m. The dinner program will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.
We have a lot to celebrate. The 2012-2013 year has been especially productive for FBANC. We are working with Filipino-American attorneys nationwide to form the National Filipino American Lawyers Association (NFALA). Our very own David Mesa, Billy Chan and Mark Punzalan are NFALA Regional Governors for the Northern California region.
We held several free legal clinics in areas with large populations of Filipinos/Filipino-Americans, including Daly City, Union City, Alameda and the Mission District in San Francisco. We started the FBANC Professional Development Program, a program designed to help new attorneys and law students with their resumes and interviewing skills. With the help of Raymond L. Ocampo, Jr., we will award law student scholarships totaling $10,000. In addition, we continue to focus on mentoring our future FBANC leaders by co-sponsoring events such as Legally Asian, a conference aimed at encouraging high school and college students to pursue a law degree and involving Filipino-American college and law students at our events.
