In-House Counsel Committee

Welcome to the FBANC In-House Counsel Committee!  The FBANC In-House Counsel Committee was established to deliver professional development, networking, and mentorship to FBANC’s in-house attorney members.  The Committee provides a forum where FBANC in-house counsel can engage in the discussion and exchange of ideas and best practices for their work with legal departments of corporations, organizations, and other institutions.  The Committee is also a resource for FBANC members who are considering an in-house career and those interested in building relationships with in-house counsel.

Diversity and Inclusion: Best Practices in Law and Business

The FBANC In-House Counsel Committee organized its first event on March 13, 2019 – “Diversity and Inclusion: Best Practices in Law and Business,” which featured an extraordinary panel, including David Abella (Alameda Health System), Eric Casher (Meyers Nave/City of Pinole), Komal Chokshi (Office of the General Counsel for the University of CA Office of the President), Darin Conley-Buchsieb (SF Ballet), Danielle McMillian (City of Berkeley Public Library), and Loran Simon (Affirm), moderated by Pamela Palpallatoc (Tyson & Mendes).  Thank you to our co-sponsor – the Charles Houston Bar Association and to our host Polsinelli for providing the venue, food, and refreshments!
