2024 William R. Tamayo Community Grant Application

FBANC is offering the WILLIAM R. TAMAYO COMMUNITY GRANT in the amount of $4,000 to a community non-profit organization operating in Northern California. The grant must fund a particular cause or project dedicated to serving the Filipino and/or Filipinx American community. Applications are due on March 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

ABOUT THE WILLIAM R. TAMAYO COMMUNITY GRANT

In 2020, FBANC introduced its inaugural FBANC Community Grant, which awarded $2,500 to a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit to further goals focused on helping the Filipino and/or Filipinx American community. In 2021, FBANC renamed the FBANC Community Grant to the William R. Tamayo Community Grant, in honor of William R. Tamayo, one of the founding members of FBANC who has dedicated his entire legal career to serving others. During its 43rd year and under the theme of Be the Change, FBANC seeks to recognize our community’s power to effect change. FBANC is thrilled to offer the William R. Tamayo Community Grant for a fourth year with an increased award of $4,000. FBANC recognizes that we are part of a collective effort to raise Filipino/a/x voices and champion our presence where we remain underrepresented. Transformative change begins at the roots, and we aim to support community organizations to build a stronger and more inclusive future together.

Thank you for your interest in the William R. Tamayo Community Grant! We look forward to supporting you in your service.
