Angelene Obedoza - FBANC Var Fox Yerganian Scholarships #3

Angelene Obedoza is a second-year law student at UC Davis School of Law, originally born in Manila and from Daly City. Prior to law school, she served as a Judicial Fellow for the Capital Fellows Program, and worked as a Management Analyst at a trial court, focusing on the facilitation of the mental competency process. She currently serves as Co-Chair for the Filipinx Law Students Association, Treasurer of the King Hall Negotiations Team, and Articles Selection Editor for the Business Law Journal. During her 1L summer, she split her time between Visa and Gibson Dunn, exploring her interests in contract drafting, privacy, and technology in law. She is excited to return to the firm this summer to continue gaining experience in transactional law.

Grateful for the mentorship and support she received from FBANC, Angelene is passionate about continuing this tradition of giving back and is committed to making the legal field a more diverse and inclusive space.

About the Scholarship: These scholarships are part of a 5-year $75,000 commitment by Var Fox, dedicated to his parents and in honor of his family to support future generations of legal leaders. Var is Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Judicate West.
