Virtual Mentorship Pairing Event (Recap)

On October 30, 2020, FBANC held its Virtual Mentorship Pairing Event where about 30 mentors and mentees met over dinner to get to know one another and cap our celebration of Filipinx American History Month.

Mentors and Mentees rotated amongst small group discussions to explore questions such as "If you could speak to yourself on New Year's Eve (12/31/19), what’s one piece of advice you would give for surviving/thriving this year?" and "If money didn’t matter, what area of law would you want to practice in and why? Is your current practice/goal different from this and why?" After some bonding in the small groups, we came back together to discuss key pieces of advice and the value of FBANC's mentorship program.

If you attended this event, please let us know in the comments below your favorite moment of the event / favorite piece of advice!

The key goals of FBANC's mentorship program are to provide guidance and empowerment, serve as a resource, and have someone to talk to who may share some similar experiences. If you've already signed up, don't forget to reach out to your mentor/mentee! If you have not yet signed up but are interested in joining, please email Maribeth & Will at mentorship@fbanc.org.
