Isabelle Tan
I am Sandra Isabelle Cortez Tan.
I have served on the FBANC Board for several years in many capacities: from Community Outreach Director, Membership Director, and Secretary. I am running to be a Director-At-Large in the upcoming year to be a support to the entire board and provide the mentorship and a helping hand to the various positions.
I was born and raised in Cebu, Philippines. My mother grew up in Mandaue City and to this day is part of the Bay Area’s “Mandauehanon Fiesta” held in May every year. My father was raised in Bacolod City. I still have a very large family and connections in the Philippines.
When I became a lawyer in the United States, I sought to find that same level of pamilya and was so happy to have found FBANC. It is a bar association that I am both invested in and passionate about. I truly believe in the values and purpose of FBANC, and I hope I have the opportunity to serve on the Board once again in the coming year.
