Janice Reicher
It has been an honor to serve as co-chair of FBANC’s Professional Development Committee for the past two years. I am running for the position of co-chair of the Mentorship Committee this year because I would like to take a more active role in promoting strong relationships among the members of our Filipino-American legal community. This past year, I have worked on organizing events like the FBANC Past Presidents Legacy panels and the judiciary panel featuring our Filipino-American jurists. I also spoke on the topic of goal-setting at the Pinay Powerhouse conference. In the past, I also helped organize the first annual Komunidad Bay Area PALS conference and spoke on a panel sharing tips for law students to succeed in their summer internships. I hope to continue these efforts with a greater focus on increasing mentorship, as well as sponsorship, within FBANC and the Filipino community more broadly. Thank you.
