Director, Professional Development:
Gabrielle Sullera
I’m excited to submit my candidacy for Co-Director of Professional Development. As a young attorney navigating my own career, I know firsthand how important mentorship, skills training, and professional connections are to success in the legal field. My goal is to strengthen FBANC’s support systems by creating meaningful opportunities for learning, career growth, and mentorship for all members—whether they’re law students just starting out or seasoned attorneys looking for new ways to engage.
This year’s FBANC theme, “Pathways,” really resonates with me. My own path, from law school at USF to practicing intellectual property and commercial litigation, was shaped by the mentors who guided me, the professional development programs I took part in, and the opportunities I sought along the way. I want to make sure that every FBANC member has access to those same kinds of resources, and even more, so they can confidently build the careers they envision. If elected, I hope to expand mentorship opportunities so that members at any stage of their careers can connect with seasoned attorneys for guidance and support. I also want to organize workshops that focus on real, practical skills to help members develop expertise in their respective practice areas. Beyond that, I want to strengthen FBANC’s ties with the broader legal community—working with law firms, nonprofits, other legal organizations, and industry leaders to create more networking and career opportunities. My goal is to help build an environment where FBANC members can grow, succeed, and support one another at every stage of their careers.
I would be honored to serve as Co-Director of Professional Development and help create meaningful pathways for our community. Thank you!
