Gabrielle Sullera
Gabrielle is an associate at Chan + Punzalan, with broad experience across intellectual property, commercial contracts, privacy, and employment law. Her experience includes advising and representing clients in matters such as breach of contract, partnership disputes, trademark infringement (for both plaintiffs and defendants), trademark prosecution, copyright, trade secrets, class actions, PAGA representative actions, and various commercial agreements, including data processing agreements, intellectual property agreements, and settlement agreements. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), Gabrielle also advises on privacy compliance and data protection issues. Before joining Chan + Punzalan, Gabrielle gained experience in transactional and litigation matters, focusing on trademark and domain name disputes and enforcement. She also dedicated her efforts to pro bono legal work at Start Small Think Big, where she helped find legal services for start-ups and developed educational materials on legal issues affecting small businesses and entrepreneurs.
While in law school, Gabrielle worked at USF’s Internet & Intellectual Property Justice Clinic, handling trademark prosecution, contract review, and privacy policy drafting. She served as Senior Survey Editor for the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Journal, Co-President of the Business Law Association, and competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition. Gabrielle is also actively involved in the legal community. In addition to serving as this year's Co-Director of Professional Development for FBANC, she is on the Executive Committee for the Bar Association of San Francisco Barrister's Intellectual Property Section and Co-Chair of the Solo & Small Firm Committee of the Asian American Bar Association - Bay Area.
