Community Outreach Director Chloe Ramos Czabaranek

Chloe Ramos Czabaranek is an Associate Attorney at Landerholm Immigration, APC in Oakland. She practices removal defense and affirmative asylum in line with her passion on keeping families together and here. Chloe immigrated from Cebu, Philippines in 2001 and has two childhoods, growing up in the Philippines and growing up in the Bay Area. Chloe speaks English, Tagalog, Visayan, and Spanish. Chloe has previously served as membership and legal clinics director. Additionally, she co-chairs the scholarship committee for APABA SV. Prior to working at immigration firms, Chloe was at a non-profit firm that exclusively served survivors of human trafficking throughout the Bay Area.

Throughout law school, Chloe externed for Pangea Legal Services and represented clients as student counsel arguing at the SF EOIR and the Ninth Circuit. Prior to law school, Chloe was a labor union organizer at SEIU Local 2015 and organized nursing homes and agencies to win their NLRB elections throughout CA. Community remains an important aspect in Chloe’s life and has worked with groups like Anakbayan East Bay and interned during undergrad at Filipino Advocates for Justice. Chloe graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law with a J.D. and a Public Interest Immigration Asylum Certificate, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Music.
