Connor Tamor - The Honorable Ronald Quidachay Scholarship Recipient
Connor Tamor is a 1L at UC Law, San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings). In 2022, Connor graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Research in Environment and Sustainability. He also earned minors in Climate Change and Public Policy.
Connor is currently a 1L Representative for UC Law's Technology and Law Society, Environmental Law Association, and Pilipinx American Law Society. He is also a general member of UC Law's Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and Federal Bar Association. Connor is looking forward to externing for the Honorable Judge Edward M. Chen, U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of California, this summer and honing his legal research and writing skills on the job.
About the Scholarship: The Judge Quidachay Scholarship commemorates Judge Ronald Quidachay’s tenure as the first Filipino American to sit on the bench in Northern California (from 1998 to 2018 he served on the San Francisco Superior Court). The scholarship is awarded to a law student that has shown a strong commitment to the Filipino American community inside and outside of law school.
