My name is Gabriela "Gabbie" Pacada, and I hope to serve as Co-Chair of the Communications Committee. As an Associate at Clyde & Co LLP, I am a member of the Aviation Liability practice with a focus on automotive warranty litigation. I defend automotive manufacturers in commercial and consumer breach of warranty cases in state and federal courts. My practice also includes defending tenants in eviction defense matters. 

Before attending law school, I worked as a legal assistant at a mid-size firm in my hometown of Honolulu. I also served as a consular assistant to the Honorary Consulate of Belgium and a Special Assistant to US Senator Brian Schatz of Hawaiʻi. 

While attending law school, I developed litigation skills as a judicial extern with Judge Garrett Wong at the Superior Court of San Francisco and a legal intern at the Securities and Exchange Commission. I also spent a semester as a corporate counsel extern to the legal team at Pharmavite. 

FBANC has provided me with a unique opportunity to connect with the Fil-Am legal community in the Bay Area. I appreciate the opportunity to serve in this role, where I will manage FBANC’s social media presence and coordinate member communications.
