Director:
Kasey Isobe
My name is Kasey Isobe, and I am a first-year associate at Baker McKenzie practicing global labor and employment law. I have been an active member of FBANC since my 1L year of law school, and FBANC’s social events were instrumental in helping me build community and navigate law school. Those experiences made the Bay Area feel like home and reinforced the importance of intentional, welcoming spaces within the legal profession.
I am applying to serve as Social Committee Co-Chair because I genuinely enjoy creating opportunities for people to connect in ways that are both inclusive and fun. Through my involvement with FBANC, I have seen firsthand how thoughtfully planned social events can strengthen professional relationships, foster mentorship, and build a real sense of community.
If selected, I would be honored to help build on FBANC’s long-standing history of fostering connection, mentorship, and community within the Bay Area Filipinx legal profession. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute thoughtfully and collaboratively, and to help plan meaningful and memorable opportunities that reflect and advance the organization’s mission and legacy in the year ahead.
Thank you for your consideration.
