Marjan Abubo
Born in Quezon City, Philippines, Marjan immigrated to a working-class, immigrant community Los Angeles, California. His passion for advocating for a livable community informed his decision to study urban planning and history from UCLA, where he graduated with honors. Prior to law school, Marjan worked in local government, scaling up sustainability and energy-efficiency programs. When he is not lawyering, Marjan enjoys running, rock-climbing, and fashioning intricate terrariums for friends and family.
Marjan Kris Abubo is a 2022 graduate of UC Davis School of Law (King Hall) and associate attorney practicing municipal and land use/environmental law. Throughout his time at King Hall, Marjan was an active member of the Filipinx Law Students Association and First Generation Advocates. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Environs Law Journal and President of the King Hall Negotiations Team.
