Vannalee Cayabyab
Vannalee Cayabyab (she/her) is an associate attorney in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices within the firm's Litigation Department, advising clients on complex commercial litigation, high-stakes business disputes, and strategic risk management. Before joining Gibson Dunn, Vannalee served as a law clerk on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. Vannalee earned her law degree in 2022 from the UC Davis School of Law, where she was elected as a member of the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers.
Vannalee previously served as Mentorship Director (2025-2026) and Social Director (2024-2025) for FBANC. Vannalee currently serves as Chair of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area's (AABA) LGBTQ Committee.
While at UC Davis School of Law, Vannalee was on Law Review and Moot Court Honors Board. Vannalee was awarded the King Hall Outstanding Clinic Student Award for her advocacy in the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic. She was also involved in the Filipinx Law Student Association. Vannalee graduated in 2019 from the University of California, Davis with Bachelor degrees in Political Science, magna cum laude, and Spanish, cum laude.
