Marc Pilotin, FBANC President (2019-2020)

Marc Pilotin is General Counsel for the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency. He served as FBANC’s 39th President.

In addition to being an ardent FBANC booster, Marc has volunteered in the community, serving as court-appointed counsel in civil rights and discrimination cases, former chairperson of the Oakland Public Ethics Commission, and as a director of the ACLU of Northern California. Marc has also worked as a lecturer at the UC Berkeley School of Law.

Marc graduated from Berkeley Law in 2009 and received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from UCLA. Before law school, Marc was a fourth-grade teacher in South Los Angeles.
