Gabriella Biscocho - The Theodore Borromeo Scholarship
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Gabriella Biscocho's passion for the legal system was sparked by her family and women's soccer. Her prior work as a litigation fellow for Arias Sanguinetti and as a judicial intern in San Mateo County encouraged her interest in civil law and inspired her to help people in her community through legal representation and education. She is currently a rising 3L at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco with a concentration in social justice lawyering. This summer, Gabriella is a diversity fellow with the San Francisco Trial Lawyer’s Association.
About the Scholarship: With his family, Theodore Borromeo immigrated to the United States from the Philippines when he was seven years old. This scholarship is awarded to a law student in pursuit of any practice perspective in employment and labor law, the area in which Mr. Borromeo dedicated his career for almost 40 years until his retirement in 2020.
