Katrina Siason - FBANC Var Fox Yerganian Scholarships #1

Katrina was born in the Philippines and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida, where she triple majored in Political Science, Economics, and Spanish. During law school, she served as Co-Chair of the Filipinx Law Students Association, a Senior Articles Editor for UC Davis Law Review, and a tutor for Contracts, Constitutional Law, and Legal Research & Writing. She has also studied abroad in Switzerland through the King Hall Study Abroad Program.

During her 1L summer, she worked as a judicial extern for Justice Louis Mauro on the California Third District Court of Appeal. She is a recipient of the Reynoso Academic Excellence Award in Legal Research and Writing, as well as the Academic Excellence Scholarship for her academic achievement during her 1L year. Following graduation, Katrina will join Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in its San Francisco office, where she previously worked as a 2L summer associate, and will practice corporate law. Katrina is also passionate about mentorship and is dedicated to supporting the next generation of Filipinx law students. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, and baking sourdough.

About the Scholarship: These scholarships are part of a 5-year $75,000 commitment by Var Fox, dedicated to his parents and in honor of his family to support future generations of legal leaders. Var is Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Judicate West.
