ABS-CBN TFC News Segment on Komunidad 3

Komunidad is a conference for Pilipinx American Law Students.

This year’s conference, like previous iterations, is a joint collaboration between FBANC and Fil-Am student organizations at law schools in Northern California (Berkeley Law, UC Hastings, Univ. of San Francisco, Golden Gate Univ., Santa Clara Univ., and UC Davis). Our keynote speaker is Commissioner Pelayo A. Llamas, Jr. (Alameda Superior Court). This is the third year FBANC has hosted Komunidad, which aims to serve current and aspiring law students.

Komunidad is a hybrid event with two portions.

Online portion: substantive Zoom panels and discussions on key topics of interest for law students and attorneys. The panelists include Fil-Am attorneys and other professionals. Law students will moderate the panels. You must register (link above) in order to watch the Zoom events.

In-person portion: Happy Hour at Drakes Dealership in Oakland CA (2325 Broadway, Oakland 94612). FBANC will host food and drinks. The venue is outdoors, and walking distance to the 19th Street Oakland BART stop.
