Operations Director Nicolette Rae Bencito
Nicolette Rae “Nico” Bencito (she/her) is an Associate Attorney practicing in several areas of civil litigation. She currently represents individuals who have suffered catastrophic losses in personal injury cases and family members who have lost a loved one in wrongful death claims.
Nico received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco, School of Law, where she served as the Co-President of the Pilipino American Law Society (PALS) and Professional Development Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA). She was a law clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Wilson at the Santa Clara County Superior Court in Palo Alto and a student clinician for the Immigration Policy Clinic at USF. Nico was also a judicial extern for the Pro Se Department at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She received her BA from the California State University of Fullerton, where she competed regionally and nationally as a policy debater with the CSUF Forensics Team.
As a member of the Bay Area PALS Coalition, Nico has worked alongside FBANC leadership in the past to facilitate virtual events during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is the inaugural recipient of the Theodore Borromeo Scholarship and looks forward to giving back to the FBANC community by serving as an Operations Director this year.
