Leoangelo Cristobal

Leoangelo C. Cristobal is an Associate at Boutin Jones in Sacramento. He practices all aspects of tax law, including tax planning, transactional tax, and tax controversy. He has previous experience in both the private and public sector, having worked as an Associate with Andersen and more recently as Tax Counsel for the California Franchise Tax Board. He has an LL.M. in Taxation and is admitted to the California bar and the United States Tax Court.

Prior to law school, Leo received his B.A. in Communication with Minors in English and Expository Writing from the University of California, Davis. He was an active member of the Davis Fil-Am community and was chosen to be the Senior Speaker for the Filipino Graduation Celebration. He received his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he worked as an extern for the Honorable Teri L. Jackson at the San Francisco Superior Court, competed in Mock Trial, wrote for Law Review, and served as co-President for the Pilipino American Law Society. He graduated with Honors and was also voted to be the Student Speaker at his Law School Commencement ceremony.

Leo has been an active member of FBANC since 2013. He is a recipient of the Raymond L. Ocampo, Jr. Family Scholarship and has served on the Board as co-Director of Mentorship and most recently as Treasurer. He is married to Lauren and Dad to Livi. He is a proud son, husband, and father, and he is excited to continue serving our community.
