Raniele Reyes - The Charles and Melita Jung Charitable Fund Scholarship Recipient
Raniele Reyes (he/him) was raised in Hawaiʻi and later moved to San Francisco to pursue his J.D. at the University of San Francisco School of Law. He earned his B.A. in Political Science and Filipino Language and Culture from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Raniele is the outgoing Co-Chair of the Public Interest Law Foundation, Co-President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and the Co-President of the Pilipinx-American Law Society. Passionate about public law and human rights advocacy, he hopes to use his legal education to create meaningful change. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, cooking, hiking, and exploring different boba spots around the city.
About the Scholarship: The FBANC Charles and Melita Jung Charitable Fund Scholarship ($5,000) is made possible by the generosity of Charles Jung and Melita Jung. The Scholarship is awarded to a law student who has shown a commitment and desire to pursue public interest/public sector law.
