Treasurer:
Mika Domingo
I am honored to seek the position of Treasurer of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California, an organization that has been a meaningful part of my professional and community involvement.
I have had the privilege of serving FBANC in leadership roles, including three years as Co-Director of Professional Development and one year as Co-Director of Community Outreach. In these roles, I helped continue programs such as Night with Filipino American Judges, Night with Filipino American Attorneys, and Night with Filipino American Professionals, and co-launched Liwanag, a full-day conference with Armbien Sabillo offering MCLE sessions on ethics, practice areas, and professional growth. This year, I am organizing a legal senior clinic and a care planning seminar, continuing FBANC’s mission of serving diverse community needs. These initiatives strengthen mentorship, visibility, and professional development for Filipino attorneys.
My candidacy reflects both my commitment to FBANC and my financial experience. Before becoming an attorney, I worked as a financial auditor for a CPA firm and ran my own publishing firm. Today, I lead my own practice focused on estate planning, probate, and trust litigation, and serve as a Commissioner for the San Francisco Assessment Appeals Board.
If elected Treasurer, I will prioritize ethical stewardship, transparency, and collaboration. I aim to ensure responsible management of FBANC’s finances, clear reporting, and budgeting aligned with the organization’s mission. I also hope to support sustainable growth by exploring sponsorships, partnerships, and other resources, helping FBANC’s mentorship, professional development, and community programs thrive for years to come.
I have also served the broader legal community as the first Filipina President of California Women Lawyers and as President of California Asian Pacific American Bar Association. I would be honored to continue serving FBANC in this important role.
