Ryan Manuel (he/him) is an Associate Attorney at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP's San Francisco office. As a member of the General Liability Practice, he represents businesses, insurers, and property owners in litigation involving premises liability, construction-site accidents, transportation and trucking claims, wrongful death actions, and catastrophic injury matters. Before becoming an attorney, Ryan spent more than a decade at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP, supporting complex civil, product liability, class action, and mass-tort litigation. During law school, he served as a legal intern at the California Public Utilities Commission, where he gained exposure to regulatory and public safety issues affecting regulated industries.

Ryan earned his B.A. in Political Science and Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he served as Co-Chair of Kapatirang Pilipino. He received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and held several leadership positions, including President of APALSA, Co-Chair of PALS, Secretary of Pride Law, and Symposium Editor of the USF Law Review. Ryan is currently serving his fourth year on the FBANC Board. He is the current Treasurer and will assume the role of Vice President for the 2026–2027 term.
