Friday, April 25, 2008, the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC) will host its annul Installation Dinner at The Four Seas Restaurant, 731 Grant Ave (at Clay) in the heart of San Francisco’s Chinatown.

THE FILIPINO BAR ASSOCIATION OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, THE SAN MATEO LEGAL AID SOCIETY, and THE PILIPINO BAYANIHAN RESOURCE CENTER (PBRC)

will sponsor a

FREE LEGAL CLINIC

Date: Tuesday, March 18, 2008
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Place: PBRC’s new location: 444 East Market Street, Daly City, California 94014
(Room 5 within Colma Elementary School- between Hillside Boulevard and Lausanne Avenue)

Attorneys will be available for free consultation regarding issues and questions dealing with consumer rights and protection (bills, items purchased, home improvement contractors, home mortgages, car purchases or leases), immigration, family law, employment, criminal law and other areas of the law.

People will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

Come hear what attorneys from various fields of practice have to say about their experiences. We especially encourage law students to hear the insights and inspirations from our panel of Fil-Am attorneys. The Evening with Fil-Am Attorneys provides law students and attorneys a chance to meet and mingle.

This event will be held at a special venue, Togonon Gallery in Union Square. It is the only Filipino owned and operated art gallery in San Francisco. Wine, food, and drinks will be provided.

Panelists include: Edwin Antolin, Dante Foronda, Charina Garcia, Ben Reyes, and Richard Pio Roda.

Volunteers: We also need four law student volunteers to pour wine (must be ofer 21) and to refresh the food platters.

must also have excellent oral and written communication skills. PC
