Director Jamie Martinez
Jamie Martinez is Senior Employment Counsel at Applied Materials, a corporation integral to the growth of Silicon Valley, where he provides strategic legal and practical business advice to HR and business management on various employment related issues. In addition, Jamie manages employment litigation and arbitration matters, administrative charges, settlement negotiations, subpoena responses, audit responses and M&A.
Jamie is a proud Bruin, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California - Los Angeles, with an emphasis of International Relations, and was actively involved in the Filipinx community on campus. After undergrad, Jamie attended the University of Pacific - McGeorge School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and served as Co-President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
This is Jamie’s third term serving on the FBANC board and is a native of San Jose, California. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys playing golf and basketball, perfecting his use of the smoker, and spending time with his dog/best friend Max.
