Director Ryan Manuel

Ryan Louie O. Manuel is an associate attorney at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard and Smith LLP (“LBBS”) in San Francisco.  He is a member of the General Liability Practice Group.  Ryan’s practice includes defending and representing individuals, businesses, and government entities in tort matters, premises liability, landlord-tenant cases, habitability issues, and dangerous public property conditions. 

Ryan earned his J.D. at the University of San Francisco School of Law, his B.A. in Political Sciences and Global Studies, and a minor in Asian American Studies at UC Santa Barbara.  While in law school, Ryan was the Co-Chair of USF’s PALS, President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), Media Chair for the Environmental Law Student and Alumni Association, Secretary of Pride Law, and served as the Symposium Editor for the USF Law Review.  Ryan also tutored first and second-year law students in Constitutional Law, Evidence, and Torts. 

Before law school, Ryan was a paralegal for over a decade and handled personal injury, wrongful death, business disputes, mass torts, and product liability matters.

Ryan recently served as one of FBANC’s Co-Social Directors.  He is one of FBANC’s Mentorship Co-Directors for the 2023-2024 term and will be organizing the FBANC mentor-mentee program as well as the 2024 Komunidad Conference.
