Kamayan with Fil-Am Judges

The Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC) invites you to our Annual “A Night With Fil-Am Judges”

Pinays on the Bench: A Discussion on Neutrality and Equity in the Courts

Join us for an inspiring conversation with the Honorable Judge Marlo Nisperos, the first Filipino American judge in the Solano County Superior Court, and the Honorable Judge Dee Brown, the presiding judge over Family Law and also the first Filipino-American judge in the Yolo County Superior Court.

These remarkable judges will share their empowering experiences and contributions as Pinays on the bench, highlighting their unwavering commitment to promoting equity and fairness in the courts. They will discuss the importance of accountability in the courtroom and offer valuable insights on equitable representation, inspiring us all to strive for a more just society. Moderated by FBANC's Professional Development Chairs, Mika Domingo and Armbien Sabillo.

This event will feature an authentic kamayan-style dinner, offering a unique dining experience and the opportunity to earn CLE credits. Network with fellow Fil-Am legal professionals while discussing maintaining neutrality and promoting equity in judicial practice.
